P55.02 Robotic Surgery in Canada: Are Patients Willing to Pay Out-of-Pocket?

Robotic-assisted thoracic surgery has been demonstrated to be safe and effective but is associated with high capital operating costs which are not reimbursed by the Canadian government, limiting patient access this platform. We hypothesized that patients who had experienced robotic on research or philanthropic funds would have willing contribute payments out-of-pocket gain technology. This a retrospective, cross-sectional, observational study within population at highest volume institution for in Canada.
